In what is perhaps an unprecedented display of support for an athlete who is accused of using a banned substance, several current and former players are coming out in support of 31-yr-old American player Robert Kendrick, who has been handed a 12-month suspension for testing positive at the French Open.
Will Knowles Stay Loyal?
Mark Knowles and Xavier Malisse just won the doubles title at the Farmers Classic, playing for the first time together. Not a half bad result, unless perhaps you are Knowles usual partner, Michal Mertinak.
According to an article in The Tribune though, even if Knowles continues to win with Malisse he fully intends to play the US Open with Mertinak if his old partner can return from a back injury in time.
